So at the end of my library stay, I had left my shanty I constructed in the Decks to make a phone call. Waiting on the call back near the doors I heard the buzzers go off. I immediately looked up to see who was stealing what book. The guy was called back to see what on his person was setting off the alarms. As he approached he reached into the outside pocket of the bag and handed the desk guys a ...wait. Thats not a book? Thats a magazine.

By the way, did you know OU has a subscription to Play Boy? They do. You just have to ask for it, its under the Periodical Desk.

So the guy was trying to walk out with one of said pornographic government bought publications.

I can't decide if it was:
1) Pathetic to try to steal porn from a library, or
2) Retarded to not expect the mag to be tagged, which it obviously was

I'm sure this is going to be the funniest thing I'll ever see in a library. And everyone said sex in the library is a myth.

Peaceful Nature

Walking over to the Business College today with a friend we noticed a crowd of people as we approached the building. Its not that uncommon to see groups of people huddled around, but its usually a preacher or something of that nature. What people were looking at though, was nature. Perched in the tree, on a long thick branch was a hawk eating a newly caught squirrel! Of all days I didn't have my camera.

It was pretty entertaining, as you don't generally see these birds around in developed areas. Much less giving a prey-predator lesson in open view.

Anyway, last night Im checking my OU email and notice one of their rotating stories is a humor article written in condemning an OK rep's withdrawn proposal to force every girl in the state to get the HPV vaccine. Normally I don't bother commenting on anything since its the definition of pointless, but this time I was so pissed at the retarded "humorous" reasoning I had to write in. I pointed out the article's glaring flaws, which amounted to idiot Xian bashing, while he missed the boat on civil liberty. I also took a kill shot saying he by extension probably supports Bushs' domestic security policies. To an arrogant college liberal, this is like throwing water on the Wicked Witch of the West.

When I checked back today to see if my comment had been approved I found the entire article had vanished into the ether of the internet. Did I make them cry so bad they retracted it? Or did they decide the article wasn't good anyway? I choose you former!

I guess we finally updated to the new blogger? fancy.
