Why you should probably hire someone competent, rather than your friends
I know Ive mostly just posted fake stories on here, but this is real. And funny:
So the Cherokee Nation has joined with the other tribes in building 'casinos' all over north eastern Oklahoma. I actually went into one thats next to a gas station, it was a small building filled with slot machines...thats about it. You could smell the stale smoke from about 30 feet before the door. Anyway, they decided while they were building casinos everywhere, why not build one in the capital (Tahlequah)? Some (rational) people complained how the new chief felt it nesscessary to build the casino on the land in the main complex area, and next to the school. They brought up how it probably wasn't the best image, that it was next to the school, etc. They were of course rebutted with the standard political b.s. doublespeak of how it was going to benefit the nation, it was the best spot, blah blah blah. So they built the thing, first the stupid temporary tent, then the actual building. But then, someone bothered to read the law (or rather, was informed of it).
Remember the school they built the casino next to? You can't serve alcohol within a certain radius of schools, guess which newly constructed casino sits in that radius. Yeah. So now, apparently they are going to rebuild on a different site (maybe next to a church this time) and give the old building to the school. HA.
And a bonus: 9 people have inquired (usually with shock) who I could possibly be dating when I clicked 'in a relationship' on facebook for around a day. 5 asked that night, including 1 text message, and 1 person felt they needed to call.

The new facebook kind of creeps me out. Do I really care who added someone as a friend? Or what group they joined? And what's with this note thing? Do I really care if someone "tagged" someone else in a note or picture?
i hate that it shows what you write on someone's wall to everyone. mostly because i always write something lame, and maybe i don't want evvveryone to see that. and cm, i resisted the urge to ask you about your change in relationship status, but only because i had a feeling you were up to something.
i dont understand the note-tag thing. i always try to figure out why someone was tagged in a note, foolishly assuming they were tagged becuase they are in the story or something. but it seems like you can just write a note and haul off and start clicking people you want tagged in it. and whats with the new lameness level of this 'memories' thing?
p.s. alison, you can change your privacy settings, although i do like being notified of you posting on todd's wall for his fake b-day.
I deleted my facebook a long time ago.. bad girlfriend and such. I've never been in a casino here in tahlequah.. but just for shits i went into the new one by sequoyah.. no alcohol. I was curious why.. I thought there were building a huge casino at the Y by el charro.. let go hvae lunch some time chris.. I know pretty girls.
it WAS his fake bday? i suspected as much. who does that?
yeah, the one at seqouyah is the one they built, and now are moving to the Y. As if there wasnt already enough traffic at that area.
And lunch generally isnt the best for me since I basically run away from the pharmacy and come back to the salt mine as fast as possible. but we could do dinner.
