a pretty kickass article
apparently, talent is mostly a bunch of bullshit. unfortunately, now we have to work hard if we want to be good at something. but still, couldn't work ethic be a talent?

Uh... this isnt so great. Practice helps, duh. Its like saying people who study more will make a better grade on a test. No doubt some people have to study less, and thats what the article concludes, also. I just thought this was common knowledge. So what percentage of people have ACTUAL talent? Dunno, but for activities such as sales, or other business skills, some people posess what others could never practice enough to achieve.
Oh, and the work ethic thing, yeah, it could be. Although I would only change if I was punished for having a shitty work ethic, and that also depends on what your job is. I'm sure alisons work ethic will change once she has a job she enjoys, thats not really talent.
and I know your "ethic" should'nt ever change, but it does. now I'm arguing with myself.
and your still a tool
